         A typical reaction to a Lisa Bouchelle performance, stemming from a show she opened for Bryan Adams. Lisa was voted one of the top female vocalists in the world by the readers of Japan’s Burrn Magazine, and in the top twenty in several other international magazine polls.

         The young singer/guitarist has just completed her new CD at Jon Bon Jovi’s home studio, working with Obie O’Brien, Jon’s right-hand man, engineer and co-producer. Some of the musicians on the CD include drummer Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live, Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch), guitarist Bobby Bandiera (Bon Jovi, Cyndi Lauper, Graham Parker), and keyboardist Kevin Patrick (Blondie), and includes additional production by Ed Stasium (Mick Jagger, Living Colour, Carly Simon, Joan Jett).

         Lisa has already created a buzz on the underground music scene, in part from a duet she sang with James LaBrie of Dream Theater, and in part from her own charismatic stage presence. She has achieved extensive critical acclaim in the underground press, and her new CD has already been selected to be included in the new Starbucks download kiosk music program.

         Besides her live performances, Lisa is a prolific songwriter, and her lyrical prowess gives many of her compositions an edginess often compared to artists such as Jewell, Jason Mraz, Michelle Branch, and Sheryl Crow. She has already attracted the attention of, and worked with, writers such as Andrew Fromm (Backstreet Boys, N’SYNC, Marc Anthony), Ralph Dino (Jermaine Jackson, Ally McBeal), and John DiNicola (Dirty Dancing).
