MARK NIZER

CONTRACT RIDER & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

NOTE: These are the best case technical requirements. Mark is very flexible and will work with you to help make the event a success.

PURCHASER shall furnish ARTIST at PURCHASER’S sole expense, the following for the engagement:

LIGHTS, SOUND & STAGE EQUIPMET
An adequate sound system consisting of:

One (1) hand held microphone (for introduction and backup). If a wireless microphone, it must be of equal or superior quality to a hard-wired microphone. Mark Nizer will provide his own wireless lavaliere microphone (Shure L4 with a B3 Countryman omni-directional head) with XLR or 1/4 output.

Three (3) XLR microphone cables: Two upstage on stage left, a third downstage center.

CD player to play music (through sound system).

Three (3) Grounded Power supplies: One (1) upstage on stage left, a second (2) in the stage right wing and capable of being moved to center stage by performer, third (3) down stage right.

One (1) Sound Operator and One (1) Light Operator.

Mixer – capable of controlling at least three separate inputs. Speakers must be in front of stage (not behind performer).

Basic Stage Lighting – bright lighting to illuminate the performer onstage. (See Light Pilot).

One (1) follow spot (Optional). Blackout capability in the theatre for the laser segment of Mark Nizer’s show. Please include back lighting if possible.

Performance area must be at least 16’-0” X 24’-0” with a minimum 13’ deck/floor to ceiling clearance (the higher the better). If performance area is a platform stage, make sure they are securely fastened together. Floor area without a stage is also acceptable.

Special Considerations – Mark Nizer will be juggling lasers and will use a standard Roscoe fog machine (which artist can supply, if you have access to one, let us know) to accentuate the laser effect. The amount of fog is minimal, but some smoke detectors are sensitive to fog machines and should be shut off or accommodated for during the performance.

FAN FREIGHT: Mark uses 2 air circulators in his performance. At the end of each block, the fans may need to be shipped to the next venue. This costs $14.00 to $30.00 and is sent UPS ground. Mark will pack the fans to be shipped. They can be shipped from any authorized UPS shipping location. You may be invoiced for the cost of shipping them to the next venue.

VIDEO: If there is the capability to play video at the facility, Mark can do a special video introduction. Typically, this involves a screen and projector capable of accepting a RCA, S-Video or composite video. Mark can supply the projector if one is not available at the venue.
