Our Community

Christopher P. Baumgart is president and owner of Shoreline Ltd. Since Mr. Baumgart purchased the company in 1981, Shoreline has experienced rapid growth. Under his direction, Shoreline has become one of the largest systems houses on the West Coast, with sales in excess of $18 million.

Mr. Baumgart feels it is important to give back to the community. In addition to past terms as the Chairman of the Board of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Baumgart is Co-Chair of the Hollywood Community Police Advisory Board, Chairman of the Board of the Hollywood Sign Trust, Chairman of the Hollywood Boulevard Public Safety Partnership, is on the Board of Trustees of the Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, California and is on the Board of Directors for the William H. Parker Foundation. Shoreline's facilities and resources have been offered to many of the organizations that Mr. Baumgart is involved with.

Our commitment to the community was put to the test as we rebuilt on the same site after the LA riots. Today, our new state of the art building is an example of what working together for a better city is all about.
